Free, peer-facilitated support groups every week — in person in Seattle and online. No registration required. Just show up.
Arrive as you are
You don’t need to have quit, have a sobriety date, or commit to anything. Just come and listen. You can share as much or as little as you want.
Open conversation
Unlike 12-step meetings, we don’t have cross-talk rules. You can respond to others, ask questions, and engage in real dialogue. During SOS meetings, we emphasize the importance of using “I statements” and speaking about one’s own personal story.
Confidential
What’s shared in the group stays in the group. SOS is a judgment-free space. Names and stories are kept private.
Schedule
All SOS meetings are open to gay, bisexual, queer men and male-identified individuals. All are free to attend.

In-Person Location
1520 Bellevue Ave, Suite 100
Seattle, WA
Peer Seattle is located on Capitol Hill. The building is accessible by bus and is near Seattle’s LGBTQ+ community hub.
Meetings are held in a private, welcoming space. No one will see you walking in or out except other SOS members.
Questions about getting there? Send us a message and someone will help you plan your first visit.
Online Meetings
Our online meetings are open to anyone, anywhere. If you’re outside of Seattle, struggling with transportation, or simply prefer the privacy of joining from home, online meetings are a great option.
Online meetings use the same open-discussion format as in-person groups. A webcam is helpful but not required.
